FMC Technologies Inc. Subsea Division (http://www.fmctechnologies.com/SubseaSystems.aspx) recently recognized GIL Automation Training Division (www.giltraining.com) for successful delivery of Human Capital Development subcontract scope delivered by GIL towards successful close out of the ongoing EGINA FPSO project. This was presented at the FMC 2015 Impact Quality/Celebration of Commitment event held at the company head office in Lagos Nigeria.
The award honors the professionalism, organization and the technical know-how put in place to ensure the smooth delivery of work scope subcontracted to GIL Automations, which includes over 40,000 hours of HCD training covering Subsea systems. GIL facilitated 7 modules comprising of Engineering Products and Processes I-IV and on the job training, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Fabrication and finally Testing procedures for products and systems. This work scope was completed within 4 months from date of award.
On ground to receive this award was GIL Managing Director/CEO – Lawal Gbolahan supported by the General Manager – Nigeria – Sankalp Singh and Business Relationship Manager – Odjada Ejiroghene.
This work scope delivered is the first of its kind in Nigeria and a further confirmation of FMC’s commitment towards developing local capabilities in the subsea space in Nigeria.
With this success, GIL is better positioned to better develop our relationship with Subsea equipment manufacturers. Our service offerings include equipment calibration, On the Job Training, Industrial Control Panel Building, Procurement and onsite field services.
